What's New at Articulation: April 2026 through June 2026

Updates for blogs, commerce, the editor and more.

We've had a busy few months. From major new capabilities like multiple blogs and memberships to a completely redesigned stats dashboard, a new redirects manager, and dozens of smaller quality-of-life improvements, this has been one of our most productive stretches yet. Here's a look at what's new:

Run Multiple Blogs on One Site

This one's been a long time coming. Your site can now have more than one blog, each with its own posts, tags, and URL slug. If you run a business that covers multiple topics — or manage a site that publishes content across different categories — you can now keep those streams fully separate without spinning up multiple sites. The dashboard posts view gains a blog selector whenever you have more than one blog active.

Memberships and Subscription Products

You can now create membership tiers on your site and gate content or pages for members only. Subscription products in your store support recurring billing — monthly, annual, or whatever cadence fits your business. There's a dedicated Members section in the dashboard where you can see who's subscribed, manage access, and import or export your member list via CSV. If you've been running a course, community, or paid newsletter and wishing your website could handle the billing too, this is the feature for you.

Preview Themes Before Committing

Switching themes used to mean taking a leap of faith. Now you can preview any theme with your actual site content before applying it — no more guessing what your site will look like after a redesign. The preview opens as a side-by-side overlay so you can compare before and after.

A Full Redirects Manager

When you reorganize your site, rename pages, or change your URL structure, broken links are inevitable. The new Redirects page in your dashboard lets you create, manage, and delete URL redirects yourself — no support ticket needed. Point old URLs at new ones and keep your visitors (and search engines) finding the right pages.

PDF Viewer

You can now embed PDFs directly on any page using a self-hosted viewer with smooth, browser-native rendering. It includes a fit mode option and works reliably across browsers. Great for portfolios, menus, lookbooks, guides, or any document you want visitors to read without leaving your site.

Video Gallery

A new Video Gallery component lets you showcase a collection of videos on any page. Videos display with a clean play button overlay and support individual captions and width settings.

Pickup Scheduling

If your store offers local pickup, customers can now choose a pickup time at checkout. You can configure a minimum prep time and include an ASAP option for when you're ready to go immediately.

Testimonials Slider

The testimonials block now supports a slider layout in addition to the existing grid, making it easier to feature several quotes without taking up too much vertical space.

Product Image Zoom

Clicking a product photo on the product page now opens a lightbox zoom view. Customers get a closer look without leaving the page.

Single Product Component

You can now feature a specific product anywhere on your site — not just in your store. Drop a single product onto a landing page, your homepage, or any section to drive attention to a particular item.

Multi-File Digital Products

Digital product listings now support multiple downloadable files. Bundle a PDF guide with a template, or offer a course with several materials — all under one product.

Smarter Shipping Controls

Two new shipping gates give you more control over how fulfillment options appear at checkout. You can now restrict shipping options to specific countries (so you only show rates that actually apply to the customer's location), and you can gate shipping methods by order value — for example, unlocking free shipping once a cart reaches a certain threshold.

Better Store Organization

Product and category management got a meaningful upgrade. You can now drag and drop products within a category to set their display order, and drag subcategories to reorder them in the hierarchy. Categories also now have a default sort setting — choose between Featured (your manual order), alphabetical, or newest first. The Featured option is perfect when you want to hand-curate exactly how products appear.

Transaction Filters and Product Details

The transactions list now has filter controls so you can narrow down by date, product, or other criteria. Each transaction in the list also now shows the products purchased inline, so you can see what was ordered at a glance without opening every record individually.

Blog Post Improvements

Blog posts now support social sharing buttons and comments on the new-style blog layout. You can customize the text of the "Read More" link at the post break point, and post URLs (slugs) can be edited directly from the post editor. The posts dashboard has also been upgraded with sort controls (by date or title) and filters (by tag or date range), making it much easier to manage a large post library.

Redesigned Site Stats

The site statistics dashboard has been rebuilt from the ground up. Better graphs, cleaner layout, and a more useful presentation of traffic data.

Design and Editor Improvements

The editor picked up a lot this cycle. Radial gradients are now available as background overlays on sections — you can control the shape, position, and size of the gradient to get a soft, centered glow or a targeted spotlight effect. A theme preview (see above) makes redesigning less risky. The component sidebar now has a search bar so you can jump straight to what you need without scrolling.

Several components got new options: captions on Text with Image blocks, captions on carousel slides and video gallery items, per-column width controls in table components, a content alignment option for column layouts, a divider between columns, and a link option on block grid items. Embed code blocks can now be isolated from the rest of the page, which prevents third-party scripts from interfering with your site's layout. And the Daedalus theme now has a fixed (sticky) navigation option, while the Lateral theme can hide its sidebar.

Image uploads got easier too — you can drag image files directly into the editor to upload them. A new asset picker also lets you browse your previously uploaded images when adding a background, gallery image, or slide, rather than needing to re-upload every time.

Custom Fonts and New Typefaces

Custom font upload is now fully live — upload your own font files and use them across your site. We've also added several new fonts to the built-in library: Bricolage Grotesque, Newsreader, Alice, Dune Rise, Alexandria, and Lato Light.

Template Gallery

A public template gallery is now live with full landing pages for each design. Browse templates, see a complete preview, and launch a new site directly from one during signup. Your chosen template is applied immediately so you're never starting from a blank page.

HEIC Photos Now Upload Seamlessly

iPhones capture photos in HEIC format, which historically required a conversion step before uploading to a website. That step is now gone — upload a HEIC file and it's automatically converted to web-optimized WebP in the background. All resized images are also better compressed, which translates to faster page loads.

A Few More Things

Your site favicon is now used automatically as the apple-touch-icon, so your logo appears when someone bookmarks your site on an iPhone. Substack is now an option in the social accounts section. Your site now serves an llms.txt file, making it easier for AI tools to understand what your site is about — though if you've marked your site as blocked from AI scrapers, we'll respect that and won't serve the file. And if you're on a monthly plan, you can now upgrade to annual billing directly from your account dashboard.

That's a lot. As always, everything is live — no updates to install, no settings to flip. If you have questions about anything here, we're happy to help.
