What’s New at Articulation: Summer 2026

A very busy summer, all focused on making your editing experience better.

We’ve spent the past few months making Articulation easier to work in, with new editing tools, more design options, and improvements across blogging, commerce, and site management. You can now edit images without leaving your site, organize pages in a redesigned panel, keep unfinished pages in draft, and much more. Here’s a look at what’s new.

Edit images right inside the editor. You no longer need to open another app to crop a photo or make a quick adjustment. The new image editor includes cropping, rotation, flipping, color adjustments, filters, annotations, and watermarks. It works with images, backgrounds, logos, and blog cover images. Your original image is preserved, so you can make changes without losing the source.

A new home for your pages and navigation. The rebuilt Pages panel brings page management into the editor. Search for a page, drag pages into order, organize dropdown menus, and open page settings without jumping back to the dashboard. You can also add navigation links to products, categories, external websites, or specific sections of a page. If your site has grown beyond a handful of pages, this makes getting around much easier.

Building layouts takes fewer steps. Drag a component beside another component to create columns automatically. Clearer drop indicators show where your content will land, and the editor scrolls as you drag through longer pages. We’ve also added breadcrumbs for selecting the surrounding column, block, or section—particularly useful when you’re working with nested layouts.

Keep unfinished pages in draft. Working on a new service page, a seasonal promotion, or a section that isn’t quite ready? Mark it as a draft and keep editing while the rest of your site stays live. Draft pages stay out of your published navigation, site search, and sitemap until you’re ready to make them public.

Manage your files in one place. The Assets dashboard gives you a searchable library of your site’s images and files. Upload several files at once, sort and filter your library, copy file links, and see where an asset is being used. You can also check storage usage, delete files in bulk, and restore files from the trash if you remove something by mistake.

More control over tables, especially on phones. A new row and column manager lets you reorganize tables without rebuilding them. Tables also have mobile layout options: let visitors scroll sideways, shrink the table to fit, or turn its rows into stacked cards. That gives you more flexibility for price lists, schedules, comparisons, and other information that needs to work on smaller screens.

New ways to make important content stand out. The new Callout component provides a customizable box with an accent line for tips, announcements, and other information you want visitors to notice. Testimonials now support optional star ratings, including a choice of star color. Accordions have more design controls for their titles, backgrounds, and borders.

Typography and images have picked up more options too. You can customize caption fonts and colors, place carousel captions below images, add text shadows, and search the font picker. Slideshow backgrounds have adjustable timing, Text with Image components support clickable images, and the Lateral theme can use a different sidebar image on each page.

Meet Edge. Our new theme offers several header arrangements, including centered logos, floating navigation, and a logo above a separate menu row. Header contact details give businesses more ways to put useful information within easy reach.

More flexibility for your blog. Blog lists have additional image-position controls, and more Featured Posts layouts support pagination. You can also choose whether cover images appear above individual posts.

For comments, you can now automatically close new submissions after a chosen number of days while keeping existing comments visible. There are customizable messages for closed comments and comments awaiting approval, so readers know what to expect after submitting.

A more organized store dashboard. Commerce screens have been refreshed across products, transactions, coupons, gift cards, subscriptions, and fulfillment settings. Product options, option values, modifiers, and modifier choices can be reordered with drag and drop, giving you control over the order customers see them.

There are also a few useful additions from June that deserve a mention. Products with variants can share a single inventory pool, and you can optionally show customers how many items remain in stock. Products have dedicated search-engine title and description fields, while country availability controls extend to digital products, services, and memberships.

Bring over a Weebly site—even if it’s offline. Our new Chrome extension exports your site directly from the Weebly editor. That means your original site doesn’t need to be publicly accessible to move its pages, blog posts, and store content to Articulation. You’ll still need access to your Weebly editor, but you don’t need to republish the site first.

We’ve continued improving imports for older themes, custom designs, embedded content, navigation, and inventory. A guided domain setup flow also walks you through connecting or transferring a Weebly domain, with saved progress and help along the way.

A few more things. You can now choose whether your site name is appended to page titles, search your redirects, and manage custom text files such as ads.txt and llms.txt on paid plans. Account screens include billing history with invoice and receipt links, and there’s a new two-year billing option.

Agencies have new tools as well: reusable custom components with values tailored to each client site, client-site duplication, offline Weebly imports, and a billing dashboard with projected costs and automatic invoice payments.

Behind the scenes, we’ve expanded CDN delivery for site assets and improved editor previews, uploads, RSS feeds, checkout, and shipping integrations. Text editing has also received attention, including better undo behavior, pasting, selection, and browser compatibility.

As always, thanks for the feedback that helps shape these updates. If you have questions about a new feature or need help putting it to use, get in touch—we’re happy to help.
