Weebly Cloud has Evaporated

Square continues to squander the Weebly brand

This time, specifically, for Weebly Cloud customers. Anyone who has relationship with Square/Block via Weebly Cloud can attest: there is no relationship. There's no account managers, there's no support, and there's no feature development. It's more clear here, than perhaps anywhere else, that the leadership and team that acquired Weebly in 2018 does not want to continue to work in this industry.

Weebly Cloud was one our favorite projects during our time at Weebly. Drew and I at one point or another had a hand in creating the platform that Weebly Cloud uses even to this day -- check the source code running on your servers, our names are there. We lived and breathed this industry for several years. I still have fond memories of my times at CloudFest EU and CloudFest USA, and can't wait to see many of you in Miami this year.

We're hearing from many current and former Weebly partners; it's over for Weebly Cloud. It's obviously very sad to see. From a business perspective, it seems foolish. From a partner perspective, it seems like the type of move that would prevent anyone from working with you ever again. It's short-sighted.
